At Clayton, we are dedicated to creating innovative prefabricated home designs and models every year. In fact, after entering in their annual contest in 2018, we were named the Manufacturer of the Year by the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI). In addition to receiving this honor, we were also entered and won a MHI 2018 National Design Award. However, this isn’t the first year we have been recognized for our design, building and sales efforts. In 2017, we also received multiple design awards.

Richard Jennsion, MHI President & CEO, had this to say about the awards: “through hard work and determination, these award winners are leading the way in providing outstanding products, customer service, creative solutions and state-of-the-art homes for today’s homebuyers.”1

These awards are a prestigious recognition of how we strive to bring beautiful, quality homes to our customers, because we believe that having an affordable home shouldn’t mean sacrificing the features and designs you desire.

I graduated from Tusculum University with a Business degree with a focus on marketing. 6 months ago I started a new role, Communications Strategist, at Clayton with the Home Building Group. Unfortunately, the Home Building Group made cuts at the beginning of the year and my position was eliminated. I was with the company for almost 6 years. Starting at Clayton in the Digital Marketing. There, as a copywriter, my responsibilities included writing articles for our "Learn" section, HomeFirst Agency, Clayton blogs, scripts for videos and even some editing. Now, I'm looking for a new career as I enter this next chapter in my life. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
