- To start, make a list of all your accounts and gather any information you could need for your accounts like your account number, password, username, Social Security number, current address, new address, etc.
- Figure out if you will be leaving before any service agreements end. If you are, consider transferring your service instead of cancelling to avoid fees.
- Give these companies the specific date you will be moving so you won’t be paying for services that you’re not using.
